We moved our domain recently and in the process of doing so found that there has been significant disruption to our email newsletters (probably over the last 12 months). We are very sorry if you were one of the recipients who missed out on our newsletters – we had no idea this was happening and our old hosting provider didn’t inform us. To prevent this from occurring again, we have moved the newsletter online – you can bookmark this page if you want and view it as often as you wish – it will be updated almost daily. For the next few months we will be sending emails out to everyone letting them know the change, but after a few months we wont bother you with emails about the newsletter. Just bookmark this page and view it as often as you want.


Obviously many people are interested to know what is happening with business sales during this period, both from a buying and selling perspective. The very short answer, which applies across Asia is that there are buyers, but because of travel restrictions buyers can’t travel to destinations to view and conduct due diligence. In terms of what is available to buy, of course there is a lot, but there are also many businesses folding and handing back their business premises to landlords as they appear to have left putting their business on the market too late. As a buyer, if you are in-country and available to inspect, there are many bargains available to be viewed and (unfortunately for the sellers … sorry) prices have never been better. Business owners thinking of selling must understand that selling a business even in good times is not a quick process. If you are thinking of selling, please contact us earlier rather than later so we can help you best. Listing a business for sale and expecting it to be sold within one or two months (regardless of how cheap the price is) is just unrealistic even in normal times never mind during a pandemic. List early!
